Executive/Leadership Coaching
Leadership coaching is a relationship with three partners - the executive, the coach, and the organization. Working as a team, we strive to align individual and organizational needs and goals to achieve agreed upon results.
We begin by "contracting" which includes defining roles, setting goals, establishing ground rules. The contract ensures that coach, coachee and organization will all be on the same page regarding confidentiality, accountability and measuring results.
We help individuals improve their self-knowledge, understanding of their organization's culture, and insights about big picture business issues. We do this by meeting one-on-one with the "coachee", asking questions, providing feedback, and guiding next-step thinking.
In the end, we enable those we coach to tap into their unique individual skills sets in order to:
Develop effective, cross-functional relationships
Build trust up, down, and across the organization
Shift from one role to another
Adjust to major institutional changes (such as merging or reorganizing business units)
Guide, influence, and motivate direct reports
Manage expanding responsibilities

Team Development
At work, as in relationships, sports, and life, effective teamwork depends on key variables-team goals, team culture, and the strengths and skills of each team member. Because they are built on the natural complexities of human beings, each team is different. Teams may occasionally malfunction, may need realignment, or may simply want to learn how to function better.
Our approach varies with the teams we coach, and programs that include everything from simple activities that promote interpersonal understanding to elaborate role-playing exercises that lead to solving complex problems.
We teach skills that help teams:
Communicate better when they are geographically dispersed
Develop, reassess, and integrate their purpose, vision, and mission
Deepen their understanding of how to work together productively
Eliminate barriers to efficient, effective functioning
Solve problems, put forward new ideas, envision the future
Make specific plans for reaching a defined set of goals
Teams apply skills to improve:
Morale
Motivation
Communication
Workflow
Work environment
Overall strength as a team
Results
Every team-building program is created from a specific needs analysis. We work closely with you to deliver the kind of skill-building your team needs, and the results your organization requires.
Taking It Home
We believe team development programs are only worthwhile if the insights gained and the skills learned are "taken home" that is, actually applied afterwards to the team's real work. To make sure this happens, we develop a program for you that is directly tied to your current business needs. We offer lively, impactful activities that have genuine relevance to your team's dynamics and to actual situations within your organization.
We work with your team to uncover the significance of the insights gained and to devise a plan for applying what we've learned immediately and for keeping that learning alive in the workplace.

Organizational Development
How do you manage for growth? Organizations are living entities that have a natural propensity to grow or die. Our goal is to make sustainable improvements in your organization's culture and performance so that it will grow in a positive direction.
Experience tells us that employees from a wide range of levels can usually provide much of the expertise needed for constructive change. Our role is to partner with senior managers as well as with the key employees they identify to uncover the ideas that will lead to the best solutions. Working with this multi-level team ensures the design of effective processes that will work because they will be implemented and supported by both employees and management.
It all comes down to relationships. Routine operations depend on individual interactions and team functions. These, in turn, depend on a superstructure of relationships and systems. By helping to strengthening those relationships and improve those systems, we empower organization to move beyond the routine to achieve, growth, progress, and success.
We help you define your organization's:
Values
Develop, reassess, and integrate their purpose, vision, and mission
Vision
Structure
Systems
Procedures
We work with you to decide:
Does the organization fulfill its core values?
What are the organization's goals?
What's happening in the competitive environment?
Is the current structure working?
Do current systems, processes, policies, and procedures make sense?
Is the culture consistent with the organization's goals and values?
Which groups are functioning effectively? Which are not?
What changes are needed?
Once needs are defined, we'll work with you to propose effective ways of meeting them.
Our goal is to help you establish an ongoing cycle of renewal so that your organization is continuously able to adapt itself for ongoing change and sustained success.

Strategic Planning
Undertaking any change - especially comprehensive change is a journey, and all journeys must begin with a first step.
Before you can take that first step, however, you need to know where you are headed. When a major change in direction is being contemplated, we'll work with all levels of your organization to plan the right steps.
It all comes down to relationships. Routine operations depend on individual interactions and team functions. These, in turn, depend on a superstructure of relationships and systems. By helping to strengthening those relationships and improve those systems, we empower organization to move beyond the routine to achieve, growth, progress, and success.
We help you explore simple questions:
Where are you now?
Where are you going?
How will you get there?
What obstacles will hinder your progress?
What accelerators will speed you on your way?
What are the internal and external factors you need to be aware of?
Interpreting the often complex answers leads to:
Clearer vision
More sharply defined mission
Greater understanding of the environment
Precise analysis
A set of strategic objectives
This process helps you understand where you want to go and the steps you must take to reach your destination.

Change Management
Change is constant and inevitable. This is as true in the life of an organization as it is in the lives of individuals. Yet the kind of change that leads to growth does not come automatically. It must be anticipated, planned for, and managed.
That's because organizations are made up of people, and people don't change; they make transitions. When change occurs unexpectedly, transitions are difficult. But when change is part of an anticipated sequence of events-a well-thought-out series of transitional stages-people can thrive through change, rather than merely survive it. Change management, then, is focusing on the ways change will affect the people within the organization. The goal is for the people to thrive, so the organization can grow.
Planning for change is one of management's most significant strategic responsibilities, requiring a commitment of time, creativity, and personal involvement.
Providing guidance
When implementing organizational change, it's important to address the three phases of transition that the individuals involved will experience.
Discomfort-strong reactions (some quite negative)
Vision-significant adjustments (some quite creative)
Process-proactive steps (to overcome resistance)
We can help with individual and team activities designed to deepen participants' understanding of the change process and support self-designed solutions for smooth, step-by-step transitions.

Possible outcomes We will strive to help you achieve the goals you identify.
We can help your employees
Discover the true nature or organizational change and individual transition
