The Process

We always begin by:

  • Collecting Information
  • Getting to Know Your Situation
  • Asking Questions

We summarize your needs and present a proposal to address those needs, then partner with you to create the best design possible to achieve your goals.

We build into our plan a commitment to check back upon completion so that we can evaluate with you the impact, outcome, and value of the program provided.

    The Process chart

    For Individuals For Organizations
    Step One:
      Pre-Consult
      Working with you, we:
    • Explore your needs and expectations
    • Review the coaching process
    • Decide if there is a good fit for a working relationship.
(Optional): Follow up with a complimentary 15-20 minute coaching call
      Needs Assessment
      We explore with you:
    • What's happening in your organization - what's working and what's not.
    • Your goals
    • Your desired outcomes
    Step Two:
      Discovery
We meet with you for an intense 4-6 hour session to:
    • Identify and clarify your values
    • Establish your goals
    • Define the structure of our working relationship
    • Decide together the specific steps you need to take to move toward your goals
    • Explore together the type of coaching style that is likely to work best for you
      Proposal
      Based on your needs,
we suggest a customized solution designed to achieve the results we've defined together.
      This could include:
    • One-on-one coaching for key leaders
    • Full or half-day workshops for one
      or more teams
    • An off-site retreat for senior management

      Methodoligies could include:
    • Facilitated dialogue
    • Formal presentations of relevant content
    • Hands-on learning activities
    • Business simulations
    • Standard assessments and teaching protocols, like Myers-Briggs or 360 Degree Feedback
    Step Three:
      Working Agreement
Together, we commit to a formal plan. Clarify its structure and content with specific goals including dates, times and length of meetings as well as the duration of the relationship.
Identify roles and responsibilities for both the coach, and client.
      Contract & Commitment
In partnership with you, we design a final plan and budget that requires commitment on both sides.
    Step Four:
      Delivery
This part is simple. We do what we say we will do! In delivering the agreed-upon services, we continue to partner with you to ensure learning, progress, and success.

    Step Five:
      Review
When the program is completed, you will have gained valuable self-coaching skills; you may decide to transition to a series of check in meetings, or a completely new action plan Even with no formal plan in place, we remain available as a resource; feel free to call from time to time We, in turn, will follow-up occasionally to see how things are going.
      Evaluation
The greatest return on your investment in training, development, or a change initiative requires follow-through. To ensure the strongest impact from the program we have delivered, we will discuss next steps with you. We believe our job is done only when you achieve the successful outcome you seek. To this end, we provide specific suggestions for conducting your own follow-up program. If you prefer, we can re-contract for follow-up services.
